This position is responsible for developing and managing a certain number of named accounts as directed by the EVP in conjunction with the Regional General Managers. They will be responsible for factory coordination and product line development for product lines as specified by EVP. This role will ensure good working relationships between customers, vendors, and company within the region(s) of assignment. This position will also support Account Managers in identification of potential specialty product users and direct and assist in product demonstrations, quotations, and sale process of specialty products.

Position responsibilities:

  • Responsible for annual forecast preparation and implementation for region(s) of assignment for specialty products of responsibility
  • Responsible for profitability on sales of new and used equipment and rentals for all specialty product lines assigned.
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for coordinating marketing with Account Managers, Marketing and assist as requested in staffing and development. Assist sales reps as needed; maintain leadership role.
  • Review monthly reports (such as forecasts, lost order reports, etc.)
  • Ensure information is kept current in sales system database files both for your own activity as well as that of your subordinates.
  • Travel to accounts in all territories for development of accounts.
  • Be involved in customer entertainment, as appropriate.
  • Handle any special projects as assigned by EVP.
  • Coordinate new business development for assigned product lines.

Two years of college courses relating to marketing and business operation, or 4 years’ combined experience with our company in sales, office, parts, and/or service. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory. Requires considerable experience with our industry to be sufficiently familiar with our products, product application, and sales policies. Prefer five (5) years with our company, or at least 10-15 years in our industry or an industry similar to ours. Must be comfortable with computer software. Very good oral and written communication skills. Requires valid driver's license and a good driving record.
